Victoria Gonzalez Named President and
CEO of Nidus Center
Nidus Center for Scientific Enterprise today named Victoria
Gonzalez as president and chief executive officer, effective April
15. She succeeds Robert Calcaterra whose retirement was previously
announced.
Gonzalez joins the Nidus Center with more than 20 years
experience with early-stage startup companies and Fortune 500 companies.
Most recently, she was interim CEO of Graphic Surgery LLC, a surgery
benefits management company in St. Louis. Previously, she had been
managing partner and founder of Sonas Life Technologies. There, she
helped provide management, strategy, fundraising, marketing, and goal
setting for early-stage and development-stage companies such as Control
Diabetes, Inc., a disease-management startup company, and for APT Therapeutics,
Inc., an early-stage biopharmaceutical discovery company. She also
worked for Monsanto Company and DuPont Company.
She holds a B.S. degree in engineering from Texas A&M
and an MBA degree from Washington University in St. Louis.
